MUSIC AND CREATIVE MOVEMENT
This special music time is incorporated into the nursery school day. Children have the opportunity to participate in singing games and physical exercise with music. They enjoy chanting and singing rhymes and songs, as well as responding creatively to music using scarves, ribbons, balls, hoops, instruments, bean bags, etc. A special music teacher meets with the Four-year-old and Pre-Kindergarten classes twice each week, and with the Two and Three-year-old classes once each week. We are confident that these beginning musical experiences provide an important foundation for future musical growth and appreciation.
