Exploring Twos

This program centers on simple exploration and investigation. Activities provide sensory experiences in seeing, touching, tasting, smelling, hearing and caring. A great deal of time and energy is devoted to the issue of separation and the development of new relationships. Meets either one day or two days a week for 2 hours.

3's Class

Children progress from parallel play to cooperative play. They enjoy opportunities during their free-play time each day at the water table, block area, puzzles, dramatic play center and art area. Manipulation, exploration and discovery are encouraged. The 3's classes are scheduled both two and three times a week for 2 1/2 hours.

4's Class

The play experiences become more prolonged, more cooperative and more complex in the activity centers. Enjoying the friendship and support of their peers becomes and important priority for these preschoolers. The choices for our 4's program are three or four sessions per week, morning or afternoon, for 2 1/2 hours.

Pre-K

This special program is designed to provide reinforcement and encouragement of readiness abilities along with the all important free-play experiences. Following directions, working independently and enhancing self-esteem are priorities of this curriculum. The Pre-K class meets four afternoons a week for 2 1/2 hours.

Kindergarten Enrichment

We encourage the building of each child's "sense of self" with an emphasis on language, science and creative art expression. This program is fun and flexible and encourages learning through play. This class meets two afternoons for 2 1/2 hours with an emphasis on language, art and science.
